From Birth to Missoula

I was born in the small town of Fortuna, California. Nestled in the Redwood forest, along the Pacific coast, the county of Humboldt is where my family first arrived in this country from the Azore islands (Portugal). I was the first in my family to "leave the nest" and venture to Missoula, Montana where I found my heart's home.
